Can I Return My
Most of the products we sell on our site fall under our Worry-Free
14 day Return Policy! Meaning that these
products can be returned anytime within 14 days of the date of delivery. However,
please note that refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, all shipping handling charges are none
refundable, this includes original and return shipping charges.
All Items that are returned must be in new and unused
condition with original tags attached and packed in original packaging,
everything must be 100% intact with no rips or tears. We are very strict on this! If the costume any of its parts, or the
original packaging is not in perfect, unused condition then we will not credit
back your account.
The Following Items
are NEVER Returnable:
- All Special Order Items - This includes mascots
- Any Item that has been worn, used or altered in any way
- Any Item without original packages, tags and/or missing
- Special Delivery Props
- Clearance merchandise are also not refundable. All clearance
items are sold "As Is"
- Wigs, beards, mustaches, facial or other artificial hair
which includes hair pieces, hair clips/extensions, headbands, hair accessories,
hats with attached hair
- Undergarments, socks, tights and stockings
- Prosthetics, fangs or other novelty teeth
- Cosmetics including make-up
The Follow items can only
be returned if they are in their unopened factory-sealed, original packaging:
- Shoes & boots are also only eligible for a refund, if they are in original packaging and show no signs of wear
please keep in mind that most of the boots and shoes do not come in half sizes.
- CD's and DVD's
- Party Supplies
How Do I Return An
Follow these steps to initiate a request for return:
1.) Log into your
account, this is located in the upper right corner of the website screen.
2.) Once in the my
account section go to Track Your Recent Orders and click on the View Details
link for the specific order that you would like to initiate the return request
3.) When you are in
the order section, click on Add New RMA button.
4.) You will then
choose the number of items you want to return in the Order Items section.
5.) In the Order
Return Options section, you will choose the Reason and Method for the return.
6.) In the Comments
section you can add any additional comments (this is optional)
7.) Once you are done
click the Save RMA button and within 48 hours, we will respond with
instructions on how to go about returning the item(s) back to us. Please do Not
try to send any return items prior to going through the instructions that will
be sent to you by email.
- You must send back your return via a traceable method, we
suggest UPS, FedEx or USPS, if you send the returned item without any tracking
number to be able to track the delivery and we do not receive the item, then we
will not be responsible for crediting your account for the refund.
- Shipping charges are not refundable. It is also your
responsibility to pay for the shipping of unwanted items back to us.
- All Items that are eligible for return must follow all of
the return guidelines to be able to receive credit back.
- If the item is rejected due to condition or any of the
above criteria, it will not be eligible for a refund. Also we will not just automatically
return the item to you. All items that are rejected a refund only get returned
to the customer if the customer authorizes EpicMovieCostumes.com to charge
their credit card for the appropriate UPS return shipping fees. Otherwise, if items
that are not claimed within 30 days they will be discarded or depending on the
- All orders that are returned for credit and are accepted will
be assessed with a 15% restocking fee which will be subtracted off the refund
for the returned merchandise.
All refunds will be issued in the same manner that they were
originally paid for, so if you paid for it by credit card we will credit your
credit card back. Once we have received
your return and have approved the refund, your refund will be processed within
7 business days.
Does Epic Movie
Costume have an exchange program?
We do not offer an exchange program at this time due to the
quick stock turnover rate. So if you are
looking for a different size in a particular costume or different costume all
together, you have to place a new order for the correct costume size or specific
costume type you are looking for on our website, then go through the above instructions on how to process a return
for the incorrect size or costume type.
The reason we ask that you do this is because the item that
you might want may be out of stock by the time we actually receive and process your
return. This also ensures that you receive the correct costume in a timely
manner. Please note that the return
policies will apply to any returned items.
What if I order the
We try our best to ensure you order the correct size, as all
of our products offer an accurate size chart on their product page. You can also check out our general size chart
page. If for some reason you order a
costume that is too large for you, we recommend trying to alter the costume to
fit better. If you decide you want a
different size all together you will have to order a new size and then put in
for the return as stated above.
What if I received
the wrong item or the item that I did receive was damaged or missing pieces?
While we make every effort to ship each customer the correct
items in perfect condition sometimes we make mistakes in the fulfillment
process. Or there might be times where
the merchandise may be missing some pieces or it may have been damaged during
shipping. In any of these situations we
apologize for the inconvenience and we will do everything we can to ensure that
the problem is taken care of in a timely manner.
Please contact us immediately in writing by clicking on the
contact us button and completing the form. Make sure that in the subject line you Indicate what is wrong with the
order (ex wrong item or missing pieces). Also be sure to include the order number (ID), your name and a detailed description
of what is wrong with the item or order, the more detailed you are the better.
Important To Note:
- For any claims for
damaged, missing or wrong items, you must contact EpicMovieCostumes.com in writing
within 3 business days of receiving the order to let us know about any
defective items. There are No Exceptions to this policy
- We will take care of any shipping costs that incur in
order to get the correct item(s) over to you.
*Please Note : For defective, missing, or wrong items we do NOT refund the cost of the item/s. We will first reship out the correct/non-defective item to you free of charge then if you still want to return the product you will have to go through the normal return policy and ship back both the defective and non defective items. We do not refund the return or original shipping cost and the 15% restock fee will still apply to these returns as well.
How do I cancel an
We begin processing orders almost immediately after they are
placed, so that they get sent out to the customer quickly and on time. However, this makes it hard to cancel or
change the order once it is placed. So
as we will try to make every attempt to cancel or change your order, we do NOT guarantee
any change will be made. If we are not
able to cancel or change the order you can always return it once you received
it for a refund and place another order for the correct size or costume. Please note that the return policy guidelines
apply here as well for any returns. We
are unable to refund the original cost of shipping or the return shipping, if
you decide you don't want the order.
